Available in a range of popular standard sizes and colours, our cut-to-size mat boards are professionally bevel-cut to precision using our state-of-the-art Swiss-made precision computerised mat cutter.

Featuring a crisp white bevel cut window opening, these acid-free, cut-to-size double mat boards consist of two layers of 4-ply, 1.4mm thick board. 

How to Order Cut-to-Size Mat Boards

• Step 1- Choose your matboard colour.
• Step 2 - Choose your outside dimensions based on standard fixed sizes. (Note - these cannot be offered in custom sizes).
• Step 3 - Enter your required image/photo dimensions into the fields provided.

Ordering notes:

• The window dimensions will be cut slightly smaller than your provided image dimensions, so there can be a 3-5mm overlap of matboard all around the photo, picture or artwork.
• The internal window opening of your cut-to-size matboard will be centered in the overall matboard, unless specified otherwise in your order notes.
• The opening window will be cut to the same orientation of the outside dimensions (ie: portrait or landscape) unless specified otherwise in your order notes.
• The external dimensions of our matboards are cut to exact inches to match common frame sizes.
• If you have a different frame size from IKEA®, then check out our Custom Cut-to-Size Mat Board for IKEA® Picture Frames
• We are unable to offer custom cut sizes for outside dimensions.
• We are unable to offer multi-window, collage openings. One window only.
• The cms (centimeters) shown are rounded to the nearest approximate equivalent for quick, helpful reference only.
• Our cut-to-size double matboards are made to order, so please allow around a week for production time.
• Because PC and device screens vary so differently, colours displayed may differ slightly from the actual matboard colour.
• Any further information can be added to your order notes, if required.

Profile Australia only uses mat boards made from premium quality, acid free pulp which is buffered with calcium carbonite for stability and longevity.

Our double mat boards are professionally bevel-cut to precision with our state-of-the-art Swiss-made precision computerised mat cutter. Each layer of matboard is approximately 1.4mm thick (4 ply), with a window opening cut at 45-degree bevel to reveal a crisp white core.

Produced locally in our Sydney workshop, all of our double layered mat boards come professionally packaged in clear, protective resealable cello bags.
